My name is Laura. I am a first year student at the University of Georgia. Currently, I am an exercise and sports science major with the hopes of going on to graduate school and becoming a physical therapist.
I am originally from Miami, Florida and came to Georgia because I wanted to have a change of scenery. I am a Miami Palmetto Senior High graduate, class of 2002. In high school I played volleyball and softball and participated in clubs and honors society.
Now in collage I am a member of Sigma Kappa sorority and the rowing team here at UGA. The purpose of this web page is simply an English 1102 project in which I must attach a paper for final grading. Second, take a look at the house bellow. This beautiful house belongs to the wonderful women of Sigma Kappa at the University Of Georgia. The next thing that i would like to share with all of you is the wonderful world of crew. Here at the university crew is a club sport however we are competitive with division one and two schools. Recently a tragedy has befallen our team as our newly built boat house and six of our eight boats were burned and vandalized. Despite all of this our team is still strong with hopes of competing at a national level.
